Opportunities To Serve God!
Our lives as stewards of God’s abundant gifts and blessing will be enriched through our offerings of time and talents in service to God. “As we give together of our time, our talents, and our treasure, all that we do, will lead us to ...... the cross.”

Hey Bidder Bidder, Hey Bidder Bidder, Hey!!!
Have we got a night of fun planned for you!!  On December 4th, a fundraiser auction is being held to support the new Life Point Counseling Center, located right across the street from Pilgrim Lutheran Church in the parsonage building. You will receive an invitation for this event at a later date, but for now, mark it on your calendars.

Join us at the Hilton Garden Inn on Columbiana Drive at 6:30 PM. We will begin the night with FREE appetizers and cocktails while you browse the Silent Auction items. Then the fun really begins, as we Live Auction off art items, trips and more.

Ticket prices will be minimal; $25 per person or $40 per couple, with every dollar donated to the Center.

Do you have an auction item to contribute?  We are soliciting art work, jewelry, vacations, sports memorabilia, etc.  If you have items to offer, please contact Dennis Stoltz at 767-9935 (das1152@yahoo.com) or Joyce Sireno at 315-8766 (sirenosc@windstream.net).

Rotating Dinner Club
Our church is growing!  Come be a part of our Rotating Dinner Club and get acquainted with new members and not so new members.

Rotating Dinner Club consists of groups of eight adults who gather every other month to enjoy a meal and a time of fellowship. This is an excellent opportunity for members to become acquainted and more familiar with other church activities.

Contact Vicki Wilkins @ 996-5939 or vicki.wilkins@hilton.com to be added to the rotation or if you have questions.

Simply Giving
Simply Giving® is a reliable, safe way to move your stewardship plan into action. It allows you to share your gifts through planned giving and activates your generosity into ongoing stewardship. Because your gift is given consistently, you won't need to play "catch-up" at year-end or worry about forgotten checkbooks or missed Sunday offerings.

But you're not the only one that benefits. Your congregation benefits from steady, more predictable revenues throughout the year, more efficient bookkeeping and greater confidence in meeting its financial commitments.

To participate, just download this enrollment form and drop it by the church office

Are you a Thrivent member?  If so, did you know that Thrivent will match 50% of your donation to an enrolled Lutheran organization … and our preschool just so happens to be one of those eligible organizations. That means that if you make a donation to our preschool, Thrivent will also give a donation to our preschool through their GivingPlus program. (Lutheridge, Newberry College, and the SC Retreat Centers are also eligible.)

Simply open this pdf file, complete the form and return it to our preschool along with your contribution. We’ll take care of the rest. What a great way to make your dollars go further. If you are not a Thrivent member, Alan Hyatt would love to talk to you!
