04/07 Construction Of Our New Playground
Pilgrim Community Preschool worked very hard alongside our congregation to raise funds for our new playground. A special thanks goes out to the Trawick family for organizing "Hannah's Helping Hands" lemonade stand.
10/06 Pilgrim's New Steeple
On September 12th, 2006, the steeple was raised over Pilgrim's new sanctuary.  This is certainly something that you don't see everyday and absolutely incredible to watch.  Even our preschoolers enjoyed watching it go up. Lift high the cross!!

Pilgrim's new sanctuary is "off the ground".  Here you will find photos of our construction from the beginning until May.  We hope to be in the new building by Christmas!

Pilgrim families gathered at Pine Island for an evening of beautiful lake view, great oysters, and great fun!
01/06 Chili Cook-off
Pilgrim's Lutheran Men in Mission sponsored our first annual chili cook-off. All funds raised went to our Youth Group for the national youth gathering next summer. Congratulations to our 2005 winner, Glenn Taylor!
01/06 Lexington Christmas Parade
The Triple "E" Praise Team participated in Lexington's Christmas Parade.  The purpose of the Triple "E" Praise Team is to equip, empower and encourage today's youth for ministry in the world.  Triple "E" supports the mission of the PLC youth.  That is, a faithful community of youth being equipped to praise God, serve others and proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ.  We thank them for taking the Good News to over 12,000 members of the Lexington community.
10/05 Groundbreaking Service!
Pilgrim celebrated our long awaited groundbreaking worship service on October 9, 2005. Plans are to construct a new sanctuary and renovate our current sanctuary into choir and classroom space. Thanks be to God!
10/05 Prayer and Share Apple Trip
Take a look at the great fun that our "Prayer and Share" group of seniors had on their annual fall apple trip to the mountains of NC.  Lots of apples (and ice-cream too)!
08/05 Southern Patriot Dinner Cruise
The Growth and Outreach committee hosted our first, hopefully annual, dinner cruise aboard Lake Murray's Southern Patriot.  Guests enjoyed great company and beautiful views of Lake Murray.
08/05 2005 Pilgrim Family Beach Retreat
Each summer, 21 Pilgrim families gather at the Lutheran Coastal Retreat Center for fun, fellowship, and sun!

Pilgrim's Triple E Praise Team takes their puppetry and interpretive movement performances to the local nursing homes and the middle school FCC club.

During our annual beach retreat, members get lots of sun, fun, and fellowship... and oh yeah, lots of shrimp too!
10/04 Rally Day Activities
Pilgrim celebrated our new Sunday School year with Rally Day activities.  We had crafts, a cookout, puppet shows, a bounce house, and lots of FUN!
10/04 Pilgrim Community Preschool Olympics
Pilgrim Community Preschool's four year old classes celebrated the Olympics with their own opening ceremonies parade.

07/04 Lutheridge Day Camp 2004
Pilgrim and Zion Lutheran church hosted seven counselors from Lutheridge who shared the Lutheridge "experience" with 42 children from our community.  They shared their faith with each other, played games, did lots of crafts, and most of all had lots of FUN!

Pilgrim's confirmation class traveled to Lutheridge for a spirit-filled week as we studied our Baptismal Promises, met a lot of new friends, and had lots of FUN!

Pilgrim's youth hosted "The Show" to raise funds for a summer work camp in Elizabeth City in June.  A delicious dinner was served and the entertainment was priceless!

02/04 Valentine's Fun! - Our Children's Ministry visited Lexington Medical Center Extended Care. Afterwards, there were devotions and some 'sweet' snacks at the church. Our PLC photographer took these snapshots of all the fun.
